The brand states that they don’t conduct any testing on animals both pre-production as well as during production for product development purposes.

The brand Laneige states that as an international company they aim to supply their products to their customers where ever they are located. However, some nations where the products are sold still require animal testing. Laneige, therefore, has to abide by the laws to prove that their final products and the ingredients used in making them are safe for humans.

Yes, Laneige is sold in China. The brand is not cruelty-free and pays for animal testing a requirement for the products to be sold in Mainland China. The nation still requires all cosmetic brands sold in physical stores in the country to participate in post-production animal testing.
