This hair removal recipe can be used anywhere on any skin including your face and it is super effective. If you are one of the many women or men seeking an effective way of removing hair without the use of harsh chemicals, then you should try this.

DIY Body Hair Removal Recipe

The recipe uses items that are easy to find most of which are already available in any kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • Pure baking soda
  • Ground turmeric
  • Hot boiled water
  • 1% organic milk it can be any type of milk just make sure it’s not skim milk
  • Rice flour
  • Bowl
  • Tablespoon
  • Cotton ball or brush depending on application preference.

Ground turmeric has been known for years and ancient times to remove lessen and help stop hair growth in unwanted areas.

I also love the spice because it’s known to have so many healing ingredients that are beneficial to the skin.

Process

The aim is to make a paste/ mixture that has the consistency of Nair and works just like it. Begin by mixing the dry ingredients first.

Pour two tablespoons of baking soda into the bowl. The next step is to add the flour. I have made this recipe with both rice and garbanzo flour and both work fine.

Take a heaped tablespoon of the flour and add it to the baking soda. The two types of flours have been used for a long time when it comes to aiding in natural hair removal.

Mixed with turmeric it’s going to be a very powerful and wonderful way to remove unwanted hair. The third step is adding a tablespoon of ground turmeric.

This not only makes the color amazing but it is one of the key ingredients when it comes to hair removal.

The next step is mixing these dry ingredients together. If you look closely enough, you’ll see if it’s really mixed or not but it should start changing color and looking more blended.

Mixing wet ingredients

Start with a tablespoon of hot boiled water. This is what’s going to really activate the dry ingredients and create more of a melted paste similar to wax.

Give it a stir and add a tablespoon of milk. The key is to get it to a peanut butter-type consistency that’s sticky and that looks like it will apply well on your skin.

Application

After preparing the DIY body hair removal mixture properly, it is time to apply it to the skin. This product works wonderfully and I can’t wait for you guys to try it.

I often use a brush to apply this on my forearms, legs, and other body parts. You can apply this anywhere, on your upper lip, on your private areas, on your legs, you can apply this anywhere on your body.

Take a large amount of the mixture and apply a nice thick layer to wherever you want the hair to be removed. I find that it works best if you go in backward and forward motions.

The aim is to rub it towards the direction the hair grows as well as the opposite way that the hair grows. This way of application increases the effectiveness of the product.

I do want to let you guys know this isn’t a wax strip and the results depend on how much hair as well as the thickness of the hair.

You should fully cover the area and then let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. The goal is to have it dry out well enough so that none of it will come off when you touch it.

Rinsing

After all the areas are dry, it’s time to rinse it off. The key is to rinse it off with warm-hot water and a paper towel.

It is advisable to use paper towels because if you use a towel, it will stain. The paper towel can help exfoliate with the hot water and enhance the removal of the hair.

The most important step is to rub back and forth as well as in circular motions. It will really help in the removal of the hair and to continue to coat and dissipate the hair you already have on your skin.

I just noticed the hair started getting patchy and lighter and before I knew it, I had a lot less hair on the skin.

If you don’t see the results you desire the first time don’t be discouraged continue with the product and soon you will have smooth hairless skin.

Final Thoughts on Removing Hair Naturally

The application of the recipe, as well as the rinsing, shouldn’t burn or sting, it should actually feel like you’re unkindly removing and reducing the thickness of the hair.

If you are concerned about any of the ingredients, it’s advisable to conduct a patch test on a small area of your skin and check for any allergic reactions.

Some people see a difference immediately after the first try. However, the majority of the users including myself notice a major difference by the fourth or fifth application.
